Speed Cameras

Speed Camera Detectors

There is one thing I have learned, when "they" develop technology to grind you down, there will always be people who will fight back. These days speed cameras should be regarded as nothing more than a lamppost, as they can all be detected.

Speed cameras have nothing to do with safety at all, they are positioned in the most unlikely spots, picked where they know they can make the most money. After all if this was about safely a more cheaper method of reducing speed would be easy to implement.

The speed camera detector is born, along with radar, laser and a whole host of new gadgets, these days speed camera databases can easily be installed in sat nav products, so its not necessary to purchase a dedicated speed camera detector. However if your like me and love these gadgets, you cant get enough of them.

Just in-case your wondering if I have ever been caught speeding, the answer is yes, 35 Mph in a 30Mph zone, on a hill directly off a motorway, that was over 2 years ago, today I have a "Snooper" as well as a Tom Tom Go 300, which alert me to anything and everything, in fact the other day it warned me a police van had pulled over for a cup of tea ! "Warning Tea Drinking Police Van"

Have you seen those sites say "We don't condone speeding" ? SHUT UP ! this is not about speeding at all, its all about money making, clobber the motorist subsidize the local council !. With all of these detectors, you need to watch the ongoing costs !
